What Should Your Client Know About You?

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and Licensed Educational Psychologist (LEP) whose work reflects a thoughtful evolution from traditional clinical training to a collaborative, psychoeducational approach to personal change. My professional training began in a mental health setting where I worked on a traditional treatment team headed by a psychiatrist. Through this experience, I gained a strong foundation in mental health diagnosis, treatment models, and multidisciplinary care while providing therapeutic services to adults and seniors with significant mental health challenges. As my career progressed, I worked in a variety of community mental health and family counseling agencies, supporting individuals and families through difficult life circumstances. Today, I work from a strengths-based perspective that views you as a capable and resourceful individual.

What is your approach to therapy?

I approach therapy as a collaborative process that supports growth, learning, and a more satisfying engagement with life. Rather than focusing solely on what is wrong, my work centers on helping you build insight, develop new skills, and expand your capacity for change. I believe in a psychoeducational approach that empowers you to navigate life’s challenges with confidence.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

My goal is to meet you exactly where you are. Together, we will explore what a satisfying and joyful engagement with life looks like for you. I am dedicated to supporting that journey by helping you uncover and build upon the inherent strengths and resources you already possess. You can expect to leave our sessions equipped with practical tools and valuable insights that empower you to manage stress, navigate relationships, and move forward with renewed confidence.
